The Dawn of K
A short video presenting perspectives of the designer’s homeland, where conflicting values coexist.
By combining the signature soundtrack and a meme that condenses the glory of South Korea’s enhancement of its international recognition, it highlights the contrast between nationalist sentiment expressed through collectivism and statistical records that serve as a basis for national self-deprecation, which are often perceived as a more personal sentiment.
