Invisible Surveillance

Shaped by its Calvinist past, the Netherlands’ emphasis on social order translates to a unique approach to surveillance, balancing transparency with accountability. Acceptance and adaptability. Drawing inspiration from this historical context, we introduce the concept of invisibility masks, which symbolise the delicate balance between privacy, security, and the encroachment of technology on our lives. They prompt us to question how deeply we’re willing to embrace techno worship and whether it’s still possible to evade its grasp.
